Good Luck Seniors!

"All in all, I'd rank this right up there with the best seasons we've ever had because we accomplished everything we did a year ago and had a better finish at the state meet," coach Jim Smith said. "I'm very pleased with this season. This team created a lot of great memories."

Summer track schedule updated in "2012 Outdoor Season" section.

______________________________

The Scioto Track Club summer track schedule begins soon.  The practice schedule will be announced daily on this web page.  Practice times may vary due to facility and coach availability.  Practices alternate between Upper Arlington High School and Hilliard Davidson High School.  There WILL BE Hilliard and Dublin athletes at UA for these practices.  There WILL BE UA and Dublin athletes at Hilliard Davidson when practice is scheduled there.

ALL athletes, regardless of where they live or go to school are welcome and encouraged to attend ALL practices that are convenient for them at both locations.

There is no fee for summer track - it is "pay as you go", meaning you pay only for your own expenses (entry fees, uniform, which is optional unless you're on a relay, and personal travel expenses.)  There is no fee to practice with the club.  All practices and meets are completely optional.

All track athletes are encouraged to consider combined events, as well as the javelin throw.  These events are not offered in Ohio high school competition, but are nonetheless highly recruited by universities.

We hope to see all of you out for summer track soon!

Wildcat Premier Schedule of Events and Notes
Saturday April 6th 2013
(check back often for updates)

Welcome to the 2013 Wildcat Premier. The goal of this meet is to get as many athletes involved in a relay-invitational type meet. What better time to do this than at the beginning of your season when you are trying to place athletes in events. Below are some housekeeping items you and your teams need to be aware of.

  1. Coaches meeting starts at 8:30am in the fieldhouse, which is directly south of the track. The field events, as well as the running events, will start at 9:00am.
  2. There will be a breakfast starting at 8:00 am. Food will be provided for coaches until 11:30.
  3. Scratch information and entry information is on another sheet. Please bring your own baton to the line.
  4. Event results will be posted on the window at the top of the stadium.
  5. A concession stand is provided for your athletes under the stadium.
  6. You may allow your athletes to set up camp under the stadium, ont the visitor side, or inside the fieldhouse on the 1st 2 courts. We have had some problems in the past with the mess that is left after teams depart in the fieldhouse, around the grounds and in the stands.
  7. Please do not allow athletes to go past the 2nd court in the fieldhouse.
  8. Gates will open at 8:00 am.
Please contact me at home, work, cell or email (probably the best way to get a hold of me) if you have any questions.
Jim Smith

Please have a safe trip. We wish you all good luck.
